Bally Pink Shoes - Villemont (1985)

Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) is regarded as one of the finest post-war French graphic artists. He was known primarily for his iconic advertising images for Orangina, Bally, Perrier and Air France. Greatly influenced by the Bauhaus Villemot had a sharp artistic vision and for a unique ability to distill an advertising message to a memorable image with simple, elegant lines and bold colours.

This design known as "Pink Shoes" features an instantly recognisable design, with the strong contrasting colours and curved silhouette of the central figure creating mystery through its minimalism.
