Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) is regarded as one of the finest post-war French graphic artists. He was known primarily for his iconic advertising images for Orangina, Bally, Perrier and Air France. Greatly influenced by the Bauhaus Villemot had a sharp artistic vision and for a unique ability to distil an advertising message to a memorable image with simple, elegant lines and bold colours.
